Ah, brings to mind the "panic panel" on the dash of any Mk II or later Volvo B10 based bus. There are many completely indecypherable symbols in there!
...Then however there's the warning system's tendency on early 90s B10M's to randomly start "pinging" at you for no readily explicable reason - usually silenced by a carefully aimed and weighted thump to the top of the dash...
