This was used as the theme music to a Swedish TV series in the early seventies. A very sad tale that was hugely popular and made the music very popular too.

Who knew that recorders could sound so good? Mine never did.

Nor did mine!! Very impressive tongue and finger sync., not to mention breath control. Unfortunately much of it was above my pitch comfort threshold but I'd like to hear her play a treble recorder which was my preferred instrument at junior school!
