Nice Mick but falls rather short of e.g. Frank or The Righteous Brothers.
She does very well and will be better still before long. Superb for her age.
And of course they had the advantage of sound engineers and studio recording.

Lets keep this ticking over with what I imagine is a first time appearer.
What was Bucks Fizz's finest hour...winning the Eurovision song contest , many decent enough pop songs which had chart success
Well this surprised me the other day on the radio, a while before I even realised it was Buck's Fizz. Written by
by Andy Hill and Nichola Martin.

Re: Pickled Egg Jukebox-Your Selections
I came across this old favourite of mine today while compiling a playlist on the C4's sound system:
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Had this as an earworm for a couple of hours. Could only remember the sax break and "Shiver, makes me quiver"
put that to Mr Google and:-
One of my absolute favourite songs, mainly for the sax.
A crap memory isn't much fun until something like this is rediscovered.

A different version!
Had to rake around and find the LP, bought in '72, to see if it really was recorded in Newcastle City Hall, and it was.
Irony being that I lived in Sweden when I bought it and live within spitting distance of City Hall now.
Never bothered to read the blurb on the cover.

Re: Pickled Egg Jukebox-Your Selections
I like this atmospheric piece from Tarja, it's 3 minutes in before she sings a word.
Need the lights out and a comfortable wing back chair and a crackling fire in the Pickled Egg snug for the full effect.
