I have two USB dongles for the car, one in the car and one in the house having more music crammed in to it.
Sitting in the dining room with millions f seeds harvested this week and sorting them, also buggering with the dreaded Windows laptop, I plugged the dongle into the laptop (mine) and connected it to the downstairs stereo.
I know it shouldn't be a surprise as I selected all the tracks in the first place, some of them a bit randomly as they popped up on YouTube. Nevertheless I am frequently surprised with what is played and don't recall adding it to the dongle.
Anyway, many pleasant surprises as I wasted a few hours. One that came up a little while ago was:-

I enjoyed that, very relaxing, I do feel that Vivaldi Four Seasons is still the top chill out classic of all time though

this is only thing I felt relaxing otherwise, no lyrics, pure instrumental. It was playing because the Wife and MiL wanted to show me how much the kids are little sh1ts and went clothes shopping. When they returned home they asked if I drugged them!!! It's surprising how music can effect your mood and feelings at that moment in time. The orchestra certainly didn't get the credit they deserve.

One of my favourite pieces is one I first came across when learning to play the classical guitar. I went to a concert at Watford Town Hall to see Andrés Segovia and he played this piece as his encore. However I recently came across this different arrangement which was being used in a film, which I like, and the context within the film is as important as the music: :-D

Absolutely superb!! Johnny Cash voice can make any song sound good. What a legend, even now. Although I'm not sure he'd approve

Sad to see that Jane Birkin has died, one of my absolute favourite women.

I am more amazed everytime I come across a track I like covered by either of these young girls. This track, which has been brilliantly compiled from two different locations, really shows off both their talents!! :-D

Why Aye Man Steve, a bit of gentle geordie to enjoy from Mark in this one...superb lyrics delivered in Mark's way, as well as the customary guitar genius.

The S of S came up on a rather nice playlist yesterday.
Oddly enough it was an American who introduced me to Dire straights, and Roxy Music.

This came up too and it is the first time I have actually listened to the words.

Not that it matters but I had no idea that it was the drummist who sang.

I do try and avoid geordi though, same as Americanish.
