I usually pay at most a couple of quid for CDs and DVDs (cheapskate)!
"The Year Of Living Dangerously" was £33 :yikes:
The most expensive was a Mylene Farmer concert Avant Q'Lombre", £125. Was onsale for over £1,000. Limited edition with a signed certificate, in a plastic replica "Glass Coffin", then in a box with a brochure and certificate.
My box was slightly damaged. Two CDs and two DVDs in the glass coffin.

If you watch this, the reason for the packaging becomes apparent.

Her concerts are very elaborate. Perhaps not your thing but worth watching the whole show, but in particular the closing song. The hazy 'screen' is falling water.

Went to Brussels to see her, phenomenal.

Which has renewed my Mylene obsession.

She has many superb songs and as I mentioned previously the shows and her music videos are exemplary.

Love the running water in this one.

The tears are genuine, her brother had just died in a car crash and he was something of a mentor to her.

All a bit high-pitched for Mick I'm afraid.

Incidentally, that set was designed for her by an old mate, Hans Geiger (Alien). She loves hydraulics, probably has a DS.

This was where I saw her first. Was intrigued. Typical of her videos, often very dark indeed.

You are quite right about my feelings for the general pitch of those videos Steve, I much prefer things which are lower down in the vocal range:

It came up elsewhere and seemed appropriate here too.

Remember that from my schooldays.

I fixed the video link and it appeared OK on preview but on submission reverted.

Odd.

And odder that it works in this post.

Thanks Steve, I originally posted it from the phone but couldn't get it to work. I then tried to edit in the link in the normal way from the laptop and that didn't work either but at least you have got it sorted now! :-D

I wonder if the phone has introduced some hidden formatting.
Wierd that the preview worked.
