The curiosity was alive for me but the means to satisfy it was not easily available. SWMBO dropped her phone on Saturday evening and it died completely. A period of tears and frustration followed which was due to her possibly losing her data. So I spent most of Saturday night going through my old phone collection checking for a worker which I could charge and then set up as she likes it for her to take on her preplanned day out yesterday.

It took me until 4am to achieve that for her and then yesterday I had the task of recovering her data from a dead phone while she was out. Consequently it occurred to me that I hadn't backed up my phone for a couple of months and my laptop for nearly 4 months so I set them both off to achieve that while I watched the footy. Hence no equipment available to satiate my curiosity. The phone was completed in about 40 minutes but I generally don't like searching with a small screen whereas the laptop was still copying when I went to bed early following Saturday night's efforts!! :-D
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Inspired by Neil's moonshots.

Oddly enough I was listening to Harvey Mandel's "Cristo Redentor" album yesterday that has some CCR tracks tacked on from the time he played with them.

Just checked thinking that he might be the one on the right.
Wrong again, it was Canned Heat that he was with.
Harvey Mandel (born March 11, 1945) is an American guitarist best known as a member of Canned Heat. He also played with Charlie Musselwhite and John Mayall as well as maintaining a solo career. Mandel was born in Detroit, Michigan, and grew up in Morton Grove, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago

Rubbish on the Heardles as usual, except the sixties on, which I quite like and have had on her LP since it came out.
It is reminiscent of this rather more tragic one:

On the "Windmill Of Your Mind" single IIRC. Long gone along with the few other singles, only two remain.

A spinoff from today's Heardle, the only one I got, which was odd as I haven't listened to it, only a cover.
A long spinoff admittedly, three times removed.

Wind past the crap in the beginning, first twenty seconds. Why they feel the need to add guitars, drums and midi to it is incomprehensible, the girls are far better without it.

The Lovell Sisters (original 'Larkin Poe') when there were three of them.
The eldest married and moved to Canada.

Rebecca on her mandolin. She was about 17 here.

This came up on Paul Gambaccinis' programme today. No video, but it should make people laugh;

The story, sort of:

I don't like birthdays, Christmas, New Year etc. with all the stuff involved but do like this.

Gentle enough, not unpleasant, and the genuine bit of brilliance...the album cover from the fascinating work of David A Smith as seen on POTD
