I think of the human voice as another instrument skilfully played. :)

I would agree with that Gibbo, and my issue applies to the top octave of the piano and other instruments too.
During my telecomms career I spent a lot of time listening to 2280hz signalling tones and I grew to dislike pitches from there and above!! I actually used to be able to reproduce 2280 by whistling and test the receivers on our AC9 signalling systems. It was a useful aid to save having to set up lab oscillators for testing! :-D

Enjoyed Howlin' and also digging up a bit of George Formby as an aside to his 1938 movie "It's in the air" part-filmed at CitroJim's upcoming Dualthlon location Debden Airfield in Essex.

George obviously sings the title track...

From the quiz yesterday.
Orianthi. First saw this a few years ago:

Bought her CD from her home in Oz.

Followed her since but been disappointed with her commercial/pop material.

She was going to tour with Michael Jackson, replaced Slash.

Didn't go so well, was with Alice Kooper for a year

Hooked up with Richie Sambora as RSO.

This was a decent album from them.

She gets a lot of props as a shredder but I prefer her lazier stuff, like this:

With Candy Dulfer and local lad Dave Stewart (who had a good collaboration with Lily Was Here)
He is their manager.

Since early this morning there has been a YouTube playlist running, started yesterday and left running but it stops after a while if the computer is unattended.
It has served up some wonderful stuff and makes Heardle look very dismal in contrast.

One of the servings

This just popped up, contender for the mandolin section.
I love the way that Órlaith and Molly swap guitar and bass but nerver seen either play mandolin before.

The original.
