Very much like the flugelhorn rendition but this piano version also has some merit. It's the only piano instrumental to reach Number 1 in the American Billboard popular music chart. It was Number 1 from October 29th 1955 to November 19th 1955.

Even if this version is not to your taste, it's worth a watch for some of the stunning images: :-D

Had to switch the off Arctic Monkeys supposedly chatting to Jo Whiley tonight. Painful. So on went classic fm.

This turned up and reminded me of something, maybe I had heard it before on an advert or something or someone had ripped it off for a popular song.

I giorni Ludovico Einaudi. Apparently he let Katherine Jenkins loose with a version with words called "Dreaming of the Days" easily look-upable on youtube

Hands up if you know who Klaus Voormann is :?: Got a mention on the radio today, an interview even.

If you dont this is probably his most famous work, and the story behind it.
Spoiler: show

:wave1: This is the closest emoji to a hands up I can find.

Klaus Voorman is a name I'm very aware in the history of The Beatles.

But did you know that post-Beatles he played bass guitar with the Plastic Ono band from 1969 to 1971?

No not me, never knew anything about Klaus Voorman at all until this morning when an interview with him was played out by the BBC on local radio ahead of a re-release of Revolver coming up, with new mixes, out takes and demo's.

To be released this Friday October 28th 2022

Liking a bit of classic blues, I enjoyed this, clicked on after Steve's vid.
