This is definitely eclectic. O Superman from Laurie Anderson. I'm pretty sure I actually bought this as a single.

Anderson is really a performance artist rather than a singer. Not that you'd know. It still sounds as fresh and strange as it did 40 years ago!

Thanks for that Paul, it reminded me of why I lost interest in popular music when the pop videos came on the scene!! :-D

First up Lene lovitch.
Signed to Stiff Records - same as Nick Lowe who was in last night's 'chain', in fact Nick Lowe had the first record released by Stiff Records.

How about an evening of duets for a change?
Here's my very traditional opener:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

And here's another out of the ordinary duet which features another relatively unknown songster and features his tuneful voice:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Definitely an unusual pairing - someone whose songs normally spark despair and a feeling of loss and can be quite difficult listening...... singing with Nick Cave :-D

Our entry in the 1961 Eurovision Song Contest exhibits the innocence of the time, I liked it then and still do even though it only came second!! :-D
