So we have the subject matter of 'Lola', and we have the Peggy Lee album title.

We have made a back link here, Lola cars were built in Slough which is where Brian Connelly, lead singer of Sweet, came from, so a side loop is created along the chain! :-D

Lou Reed's Transformer Album with Walk on the Wild Side was produced by the aforechained Mick Ronson and David Bowie as a bit of a back reference.

So many little links - where to start ?

Chrissie Hynde used to work at Malcolm McLaren's clothes shop - so we have a link back to my earlier Glen Matlock / Sex Pistols post. An early version of The Pretenders had Steve Strange as a musician - so there's another link back to The Rich Kids / Rusty Egan as Steve Strange was the other main person in the establishment of The New Romantic movement and he was also in Visage with Ure and Egan. An early version of Hynde's band also recorded a version of The Kinks' - Stop Your Sobbing.

I'll take Stop Your Sobbing as my lead and go with its producer - Nick Lowe.....

JUst a small bit of fettling requiring Hey Joe and a double connection as Micks link appeared first.

Tim Rose is a bit of a song writing credit claimer, and claims writing credits for his "arrangement of Hey Joe.
and the link to Nick Lowe has the selection of the version by Nick Cave with Nick being the link.

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds Hey Joe was recorded on the Mute record label. Fellow Artists on the Mute record label were Depeche Mode in the early part of their career.

So here is Master and Servant

Well the chain worked pretty well with a few kinks (titter titter), so thank you to the joiners in and viewers.

On my own personal chain this track, a decent little blues number, with Jeff Beck unusually on vocals, was significant for one of the artists I have followed over the years Todd Rundgren whose first band Nazz was named after the track.
Todd went on to produce a catalogue of creative music as artist and producer with his most recognisable work, producing arranging and playing on the iconic "Bat out of Hell" album by Meatloaf.

Thought I would dig this out and see what it was like.

Time for some more eclectics. Well individualistic would be a better description really.

First up Lene lovitch.
