Charles Trenet with another French Classic...well its not Charles but it is the song he wrote and made famous but This is a far better version...one step removed from our Charles theme but it is written by Charles Trenet. Tatiana Eva-Marie & Avalon Jazz Band have some good youtube vids...nice on autoplay

I have an obscure Blue Nile track where Rickie Lee Jones does the vocals on a very bare version of Easter Parade. You can almost hear the dust falling in the recording studio it's so sparse. Magical.

Most people who know the song 'Ai No Corrida' will think of Quincy Jones who made it well known. It's actually by Chaz Jankel - he of Ian Dury and the Blockheads fame. It's a funny old world.
