Anything Missed in the A to Z?

Here's the coup de grace for Z

Now that the official curated A to Z theme of Names has been completed, back to free for all, and lob up as you wish tracks you "missed". :-D I may well put up Bernadette! So the "honourable mentions" section is open!

Had I been with it earlier I'd have to have taken the opportunity to get Jeremiah in the spotlight :-D

Weird. When I opened the thread it skipped to Mick's last post and missed a slew of posts. Usually works the other way round and goes to older posts.

It was fine Mick, and relegates mine to "understandable overlaps! :-D . Its one of those which didn't pop up in "you may wish to review your post" when I was taking my time selecting Ziggy Stardust and typing in some well-chosen words to draw the curtain on the quickfire A to Z 26!

I will attempt to do the Official List...ie the 26 first postings in each of the letters, a list of understandable overlaps, and invite posting should anyone wish, of honourable mentions, they would have posted if someone else didn't get in first.

That should do it :-D

These boys spent a lot of time at my shop and garage while they were working in the studio at Clearwell Castle, they were stuffed by the Beatles apple Group management and reckoned they only got paid £50 a week while all the management disputes the Beatles were having continued.

Pete Ham had a Jaguar XJ150 with a rotted out petrol tank that couldn't be replaced at the time so his roadie took it out and encased it in Holts fibreglass. :)

Two of them Pete Ham and Tom Evans came to a sad end later on both suicide by hanging.

Their roadie visited me in the shop a few times after they'd gone.

They wrote this too.

..and the final list was this.
click a few times gets bigger
click a few times gets bigger

I've let the "N" slip through into the official themestarter's list due to my lack of pedantry although I think the Song Title is "Candle In the Wind" although I couldnt be sure whether there is any bracketage for the "goodbye Norma Jean" bit. Marilyn did make a TV appearance last night in the surprisingly entertaining "Gentlemen prefer Blondes" so more reason to throw away the rule book :-D One downside it prevented "Making Plans for Nigel" from XTC hitting the official list.

The flip slide of some pressings of the citw single, did have a decent honourable mention for for the B's in "Bennie and the Jets!" on its B Side.

and my honourable mention, not quick enough to get in the official list, enjoying the Four Tops autoplay for the last 30 minutes or so.

Fun fact. George and Ringo weren't available when John went round to Paul's to talk about making the record, so just the two recorded all the instruments. Paul played bass, drums and piano while John played lead and rhythm guitars.

Its been a pretty slow participation day so far. So another attempt at a quickfire 26 A to Z

So from A to Z.......Birds. I think it can be done. So Song Titles take priority, but in difficult to get letters (like I) Birds mentioned in the lyrics are fine. As well as that we will not be too pedantic. eg for H Hen will be accepted as will Henry, ie the word Hen is in the track. Just point it out in the post if its not obvious.

A has to start with Albatross....on you go, understandable overlap of posts allowed but first one scores. I will chip in if it stalls or I get bored waiting for a response.

B next up

This mentions both a Blue Canary and a Bluebird in the lyrics :)

Sadly no longer a C5 owner :(
