Not quite up to a classic that everyone should know but I think its a classic!!

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Another track which has only had a few million views but I've always rated it as a classic:

Re: Pickled Egg Jukebox-Your Selections
Bohemian Rhapsody given a bit of an airing on FCF Classic Tracks, also made it to Number 1 in Rick Beato's "Top 20 Greatest Vocal Intros of All time"
As will be known by regular heardlers, many tracks take a bit of time for the Vocals to start, and not a great many where unaccompanied vocals start a track. Bohemian Rhapsody is one of the finest examples of the Vocal intro.
Beatles had 2 in the top 5....
This was one

^ Definitely.
I think my idea of classics is somewhat divergent as none of the previously mentioned ones do anything at all for me.
I nominate:-
Ooops, Neil slipped one in surreptitiously there, it was Thunderclap Newman I was referring to.

Was the other one (Beatles vocal intro) Nowhere Man or Girl?

Re: Pickled Egg Jukebox-Your Selections
It was. While its down to everyones own personal taste, I would find it hard to find a mainly vocal intro that would overtake Rick's selection of Bohemian Rhapsody. I like the start of Streetlife by Randy Crawford the album track by the Crusaders but it does have a bit of musical accompaniment. The single just launches into the music.mickthemaverick wrote: 15 Aug 2022, 21:27 Was the other one (Beatles vocal intro) Nowhere Man or Girl?![]()
What else...After the gold rush as done by Prelude comes to mind.

After The Gold Rush is brilliant, Prelude or Neil Young.

I would have to add Daydream Believer to that list of vocal intros but it was frequently gazumped by radio DJ's you have to have a proper recording:
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Possibly not qualifying for the classic thread but this came to my mind and so I thought why not?

Re: Pickled Egg Jukebox-Your Selections
Going back to the vocal intro tracks I just came across this version of a classic I was going to post on the Classics thread, but I think it fits better with the vocal intro theme!! It could be argued that this introduction is not really part of the track but it is the intro to this video and it is a valid message today:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!
