I'll give that a listen later but until now my favourite cover is by Imogen Heap, that she did for an American TV series, "The OC".

I will be interested to read your views on that Steve. I have just listened to the cover you mentioned and I can't say I'm too keen on the a capella version. However it was something different and I'm happy to have given it a try!! :-D

Not impressed, sorry. Some elements OK but overall seems quite contrived.

Imogen Heap's departs from the norm deliberately for the program; it is connected with the death of one of the main characters in a car crash.

There is another a capella rendition by - dare I say it - Miss Evancho and Peter Hollens.
Spoiler: show
Pitch will be far too high for you though.

I liked that so much more than Imogen's version Steve. May be the continuous backing harmonies suits my taste more and the balancing of the pitch with the male voice made it very pleasant for me!! I have to say I would not have recognised her had the track not been labelled!! :-D

Perseid meteor shower time of year again, so last night spent some time in the garden looking upwards. 26 satellites and 16 shooting stars observed :) So a couple of fitting tracks :-D

Shooting Star by Dollop, and IOU by Freez. Why IOU ??? ......IO is a satellite moon of Jupiter

AtoZlyrics comes up with 316 songs with Satellite in the title,

https://search.azlyrics.com/search.php? ... c34053d1a2

All sort of artists. Elton John, Lou Reed, Depeche Mode Elvis Costello....but I gave the random number generator a whirl and it came up with Number 47

The first and probably the last appearance of the band "TV on the radio" . They may be an acquired taste!

Background was to loud, that needs to be reduced, lyrically okay, just needs speeding up. Just like the Troggs with Wild Thing

I went out to look for Mr Musks skynet satellites, round the back of the house, unlit car park.
Couldn't see any, one or two stars but too much haze.
While I was out there my grandson came in from work (23:30) and locked me out :(
We don't normally lock the doors, can't imagine what got in to him.

Probably Lou Reed's worst song.
