PE Jukebox-Another 10 mildly amusing tracks! Selections please

Unread post by NewcastleFalcon »

A theme revisited

Let us give this theme a try, see if we can't get a another playlist of 10 mildy amusing tracks (yes its very unlikely that a hilarious track has ever been written) :-D

What I would describe as gentle light entertainment all the better with a familiar chorus to join in with!

Everyone has heard this one.....surely

and the PE punters can join in with the familiar chorus....."It all makes work for the working man to do"

A couple of my favourite comedy songs from Bernard Cribbins:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

That's the type of thing we'll call that Number 1 and Number 2, as mine was just a starter for 10 example!

My proposal for number three, long before Reg Varney got On the Buses, Lance Percival released this in 1965:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Possibly one of the earliest video recordings of a song within our theme:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Possibly one of the more commonly known comedy songs but not really my cup of tea: :-D

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Some good ones coming out, all of which I recall, did the mildly amusing song fade out after the 1960's :-D

Here's a couple more dating back to the 60's from Val Doonican:

A track from the end of the fifties which was different every time it was performed live but this is the recording that was released:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

My contribution.

As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Inside every old person is a young person wondering what the hell happened.
