Bagged a load of records with this one.

I don't get it, probably due to the lyrics just sliding past me, I haven't a clue what she is singing about.

With deference to the Today's County in the Spotlight thread where you will find an interesting story about this track:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Always liked this, for no particular reason

Was reading about Smirnoff and Smirnoff (unconnected) and Pavlína Po?ízková
Who turns out to be the girl in the video, later Ric Okasec's wife.

WARNING ! Tenuous link coming up :-D

To link in with today's 'County In The Spotlight' over at viewtopic.php?p=720927#p720927 I give you the fantastic Experiment IV - Kate Bush

How does this link in with Cambridge ?
Cambridge born David Gilmour (he of Pink Floyd fame) 'discovered' Kate Bush, and Hugh Laurie (Cambridge Footlights) is in the video.

Told you it was tenuous

With a nod to Mick's post in the counties thread.

I have this on a Peter Dawson vinyl that was my dad's. The only 10" among the LPs.

Fail. No, rap, hip hop or whatever went seriously downhill after Wham Rap!

T'Pau rap!

12 Seconds, needed the singing, great song in my view, and some of the subsequent covers classics too.

12 Seconds....Kojak nailed it subsequently of course

Fail. No heardle you have gone too obscure for me there, although looking at their discography nearly made the UK top 10.

Liked it!

I've learned a bit from today's heardle shenanigans Steve

1 That Cat Stevens wrote "The First Cut is the Deepest"
2. That Paul Simon wrote Hazy Shade of Winter, and that it was a very good effort by The Bangles which I hadnt heard before. I was paddling around in Clannad and the Brennans, to id the track from the intro, but they weren't options.

After a bit of satellite spotting over on POTD.....

"I saw two shooting stars last night
I wished on them but they were only satellites
It's wrong to wish on space hardware
I wish, I wish, I wish you'd care"

Great song, watching the video a bit of trivial came to mind, which lies somewhere in the vaults of the FCF, probably filed under Brutalist Architecture POTD special.

er yes parts of the video show the Alexandra Road Estate in the background...aka Rowley way Camden, North West London.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexandra ... Department.

Possibly Lou Reed's worst song.
