On the rolling notes of The Move video there's a comment about Harold Wilson in the nude. :-D Now that would have been funny.

This record surely typifies the standard British summer.

Down Came The Rain by Mister Murray - otherwise known as Mitch Murray when writing more seriously.

I've just come across a number 1 hit which didn't get into our summer theme day: :)

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Sadly another tribute track this week, this time to a rather under rated drummer who we lost today,- thanks for the rhythm Charlie:

Was just speaking of him yesterday, my eldest granddaughter's boyfriend is James Watts. Her name is Charlotte so she gets Charlie.

My brother in law used to drink in the same pub, years ago now, and said that he was dead ordinary and would never have been taken for a celebrity had they not known.

We don't really have a thread suitable for posting this so I thought the jukebox might at least attract the music lovers. If there are any other Beatles fans lurking out there you may find something of interest here: :)

Enjoyed that, as did the youngest of the family totally spontaneously!
He has been singing this song most of the morning from the "Lion King" version, but for the PE juke box its back to the original original.

He certainly did, thanks Gibbo. Not the tempo or arrangement you would expect from a seated philharmonic orchestra - conjured up thoughts of a military band on an airport apron playing to greet a visiting dignitary!! :-D

I actually have sat in that theatre and listened to an afternoon matinee of Franz Lehar music Mick with the Berlin Philharmonic led by Herbert von Karajan.
It was a quiet day and the place was filled with coach loads of old ladies, in a break in the music there was a loud snoring noise from one old girl who had flopped down asleep in her seat. :)
