I've seen them in Whitby. Not often as I am Not there often but in the eighties and nineties we were there every weekend, so probably then.

A Romanian pan piper. Used to listen to him a lot, have a couple of LPs from the seventies.

From POTD today the "deuce" got an outing. The Beach boys did and album called "Little Deuce Coupe" and here's the title track. One of their fairly familiar tunes I've heard before

Carelessly missed an 'H'

The only 'J' I have ie the Jefferson Airplane already posted by Paul and spotted the Jan Garbarek with the Hilliard Ensemble right above it. Doesn't really count as a 'J' though.

Nothing in a neat "single-sized" package from Jean-Luc-Ponty, I like a bit of jazz-rock, I like a bit of electric violin so just so I can put 10p in the pickled egg jukebox, slip into the snug at the Pickled Egg, and play a proper 70's album that takes a bit of getting into, but when you're in its great.

Probably havent played this for over 40 years, until the J's on the advent calendar reminded me.

The Level 42 track I would have selected for the Musical Advent Calendar had they not been claimed.

While researching Neil's tips for the Calendar I came across this track which I'm ashamed to say I forgot on "C" day:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Had a listen to the "Lamb" track. I remember them from years ago and wasn't impressed despite the accolades they received.
It was the title that I noticed first and wasn't at all what I thought it might have been, i.e.

Gorecki

Symphony of Sorrowful Songs

Very quiet to start with.

Over dinner I had to turn Classic FM off as it is all Christmess crap.

Instead a bit of Tom Waits, including this:

To be blatantly honest Steve, I would rather have listened to Pinky and Perky singing Jinglebells!!! :-D :-D

Tom Waits is one of the few male singers I can tolerate. A bit of an acquired taste probably. He was one of my wife's favourites and my daughters can't listen to him without bursting into tears.
