Re: The Pickled Egg-Seasonal juke box selections needed
Well the Pickled Egg Seasonal selection is a bit sparse at the moment so how about a seasonal classic from the Nutcracker, probably the best known piece featuring the celesta, although Buddy Holly's "Everyday" did feature it as well.
and for those who like a bit of dance the Bolshoi are very close if not the best in the business.

Time to break the rules by one minute thirty-eight seconds.....but how can you fit a prog-folk-rock fantasy track into six minutes, sure the PE regulars will enjoy it in the background when they have heard it a few times!

For another rule breaker and another short and fanciful track how about 'White Rabbit' by Jefferson Airplane?
I thought of it when I saw 'Winter Wine'

How about Bob Dylan, and his Christmas song?;

I have to reiterate that I despise Christmas songs, or did so until fairly recently.
I can now make an exception.
Worth noting that she absolutely refuses to lip-synch or ave any electronic aids or enhancements.
Nor does she need them.

With with a couple more from me should be able to keep the punters going with a weird selection unlikely to have been put together on any other playlist. May well help to clear out the PE's old stock of absinthe over the festive period.

Got to have a few selections from one of our local lads as well. Worth listening to the whole thing from side 1 track 1 to side 2 track 15, like before the days of downloads and shuffles. Quite a shock though from someone who has not bought a vinyl album for some years....£44.14 on amazon.

Re: The Pickled Egg-Seasonal eclectic juke box open...
Well if I have to say so myself, fairly enjoyed the PE Seasonal Jukebox selection as it turned out. Definitely an eclectic mix! Lots of stuff not normally heard put together. Particularly enjoyed the Vaughan Williams selection. Give the playlist a shuffle and enjoyNewcastleFalcon wrote:Playlist on youtube Pickled Egg Juke Box-Christmas Selection
