LNER celebrates Azuma first birthday with the chance to name a train
LNER is encouraging customers to get creative and submit names which reflect the picturesque LNER route, notable destinations, community heroes or rail icons from history.
Regards Neil
Let's see if we can come up with 10 music related names based on the LNER route that we could use to name the trains. Artist, title, lyrics, famous concerts, anything goes.

Re: P.E.Jukebox-your selections please
Does this mean Trainline have rearranged the route and put Lincoln into Nottingham and Leeds and Harrogate into Lancashire? Worrying times!!

How about a Judith Durham and a Grand Old Duke of York !

Must admit, I never realised you could stand on the beach at Budleigh Salterton and wave at people in Dover. And what happened to the Isle of Wight and their little London Underground trains, are they not worthy of a map of the UK ?mickthemaverick wrote: 03 Jun 2020, 19:50Does this mean Trainline have rearranged the route and put Lincoln into Nottingham and Leeds and Harrogate into Lancashire? Two themes in one post!! A comedy song which gives us another LNER train name: The Spitting Image (or I suppose you could have The Lady Thatcher)

Rather than the Titchfield Thunderbolt how about the Springsteen Special:
(and that makes 10 so you can put up a proper post for number 3000 Bobins!!
