Another of my second set of DID singles:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Here's a track which premier'd on YouTube just 14 hours ago and has had over 400,000 views already:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Only seen/heard of Alan Walker on one previous occasion, with Angelina Jordan singing for him.
I was disappointed, her voice is wasted, the music belongs in a lift and I thought the hoodies and masks were stupid - I hate hoodies at the best of times so there is a negative bias there to start with.

Sorry to be so negative but to my mind it isn't music, just a collection of notes in some vague kind of organisation.

Zimmer is of course something completely different although I don't rate his offerings as much as I do those of Ramin Djawadi or Vangelis, or even Karl Jenkins.

Afraid so. We can't all like the same stuff.

Just been for my government mandated exercise, a walk to the next village to the shop there.
Had the phone playing random selections from the albums stored there, all great stuff.

Until Jackie came on, like the sun breaking through the clouds. That voice never fails to put a smile on my face and just as often tears to go with it.
But there are many who can't tolerate her, including all my family except my Chinese daughter in law.

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Here we go with another of my second nine. I know this won't be well received in some quarters so apologies there but it's on the list so it has to be posted!! There are quite a few versions available on YouTube, some more recent performances, some with the wrong lyrics displayed and some with poor videos so I have picked a version using an earlier studio recording set to a sequence of stills which are fairly well related to the lyrics even if the choice of oak tree during the song was poor and IMHO would have been better to use the tree in the closing sequence. Anyhow see what you think:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Time for another of my second 9 (only 3 left including this one you'll be pleased to know! :-D ) I picked this song because, like Jimmy Nail's 'Big River', the song paints a picture of life on the rivers when the rivers were much more important to our lives than they appear to be now:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Interesting that Mick. I am up to series 3 episode 3 today of Ashes to Ashes, excellent episode but quite dark with PTSD, the difficulties faced by the returning servicemen, and the re-election of the Thatcher Government in 1983. They finished the episode with "Shipbuilding" by Robert Wyatt

Never heard that before Neil, thanks. I like the lyrics but in footballing terms it's a yard short of pace for me! :)

One of the contributors to the FCF Desert Island Discs is a Smiths fan, so this should please him at least.

Play out music on Peter Kay's car share tonight. You may remember it from a John Lewis Christmas advert...

We've reached the penultimate selection from my second nine DID singles. This haunting melody had a profound effect on my early life and was the catalyst for my first interest in playing an instrument:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!
