Another "Snap" moment :-D between Northumberland and Hertfordshire

You will have heard this at Filbert street in the Past and the Kingpower Stadium more recently. The club have used it since the 1930's

As much as I hate to admit it this one takes some beating:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Here's one you may not have come across too often but you'll hear it at Stoke:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Have you tried "Let it Be Naked" Mick, yes an alternative mix for those who thought Phil Spector's overproduction did not capture the groups intended stripped down Aesthetic. I read that somehwere recently. Do you have a view?

Yes that was mentioned in the article about Paul McCartney's part in the break up which we were reading the other day. I listened to 8 or so versions before picking the one I did. There is a very raw, Paul on piano with a little help from George which may be the naked version but I prefer the version I picked although I could not find a YouTube version to match the track I have on the album. I tend to avoid expressing opinions about the technical side of record production as I can only really go on what sounds good to me!! :-D

I have just checked and realised that I had not posted the version I wanted anyway. I have now corrected it!!

Linking last night's theme with tomorrows adventure gets us to:

Time to get started with my second set of DID singles so I'll get the ball rolling with this rarely heard song:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

The second of my second set of DID singles is rarely, if ever, played:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Strange little film, nothing to do with Eno or Cale.

I rarely listen to lyrics but these are nice.

Up on a hill, as the day dissolves
With my pencil turning moments into line
High above in the violet sky
A silent silver plane - it draws a golden chain
One by one, all the stars appear
As the great winds of the planet spiral in
Spinning away, like the night sky at Arles
In the million insect storm, the constellations form
On a hill, under a raven sky
I have no idea exactly what I've drawn
Some kind of change, some kind of spinning away
With every single line moving further out in time
And now as the pale moon rides (in the stars)
Her form in my pale blue lines (in the stars)
And there, as the world rolls round (in the stars)
I draw, but the lines move round (in the stars)
There, as the great wheels blaze (in the stars)
I draw, but my drawing fades (in the stars)
And now, as the old sun dies (in the stars)
I draw, and the four winds sigh (in the stars)

Your comment reminded me to look up the thing I dug up in the garden a few days ago, impossible to distinguish the original design and I couldn't remember the type but thought it may be originally Italian.

Cameo!

I wonder who's it may have been. Hardly the wife's as she wore very little jewellery, only a ring that was her gran's and one of her mother's, and some silver and turquoise earrings and necklace.

If it's hallmarked sterling silver could be worth eighty quid. :-D
