Have you tried "Let it Be Naked" Mick, yes an alternative mix for those who thought Phil Spector's overproduction did not capture the groups intended stripped down Aesthetic. I read that somehwere recently. Do you have a view?

Yes that was mentioned in the article about Paul McCartney's part in the break up which we were reading the other day. I listened to 8 or so versions before picking the one I did. There is a very raw, Paul on piano with a little help from George which may be the naked version but I prefer the version I picked although I could not find a YouTube version to match the track I have on the album. I tend to avoid expressing opinions about the technical side of record production as I can only really go on what sounds good to me!!

I have just checked and realised that I had not posted the version I wanted anyway. I have now corrected it!!

Your comment reminded me to look up the thing I dug up in the garden a few days ago, impossible to distinguish the original design and I couldn't remember the type but thought it may be originally Italian.

I wonder who's it may have been. Hardly the wife's as she wore very little jewellery, only a ring that was her gran's and one of her mother's, and some silver and turquoise earrings and necklace.
