There's always Prince's Black album. Plenty of people have recreated that cover when they've left the lens cover on :-D
Sadly no longer a C5 owner :(

I have a similar one. I bought Bo Hansson's "Sagan Om Ringen" (Lord Of The Rings) in around 1970 but didn't like the cover.
One of the lads in our graphics department made a solid black sleeve for it with only the title in white.

This is the full album but a playlist that can't be embedded.

I wonder, would a similar number of people have done the same thing with The White Album by leaving the lens cover off? :)

There' also Rahsaan Roland Kirk's Blacknuss
I couldn't photograph that with the lighting I have, the image is too subtle.

I would have thought that one album cover which has had a huge number of people "selfieing" at would be:

I cant think of any. Are there any?
Well if you are a Led Zeppelin fan, and you are in New York with your camera, you could walk round to this street corner
St. Mark's Place between First Avenue & Avenue A

and this is a classic from the old grey whistle test of Trampled Underfoot from the album...the dancers are great!

Just saw a few days ago that Alice has contracted MS.
A shame in one so young (30) and such a talented player.

Not wanting to spoil other's fun I can only say The DB was in a field near a Cambridgeshire city that wasn't Cambridge, the second was self explanatory and the third I believe was in a famous place of work on the west coast of the States?

Not just a shame Steve, that is an absolute tragedy. I have a friend whose first wife contracted MS in her late twenties and we all had to watch her decline and reach a situation where her passing really was a release for both her and my friend. She died over 25 years ago and hopefully more can be done now but if not the loss of muscular control for one so talented will cause her great frustration and despair. A genuine tragedy.

Well done Mick, I know you know! That's the "Ship of the Fens" in the background for the DB cover.

She has been on here previously but I am finding her to be very impressive,
Plays three instruments, has written some of the songs she sings and has written a book yet is still only 13.
Not Yuja Wang, Alice Sara or Lola Astonova yet but could well get there if she wants to.
