Couldn't find a decent live version of the Isley Bros. version, and we've had the Seals and Crofts version before, so you'll have to settle for this

Bit of Ventura highway..great top down driving song but watch out for the lizards falling from the cliffs..
..get ready to join in the chorus
'Cause the free wind is blowin' through your hair
And the days surround your daylight there
Seasons crying no despair
Alligator lizards in the air
Regards Neil
Ditched the live version...sometimes they are just flat!

Re: P.E.Jukebox-Selections please
Enough wind for one weekend? I've put the title back to normal.
Romeo and Juliet at the Proms with the National Youth Orchestra was on in the background and on comes this. I sort of could educated guess it was Prokofiev, but it doesn't sound like a Ballet piece.

I was giving a lift to a bloke I was working for and that came on - must have had Classic FM on.
He shouts out "They're playing our tune".
He was a Sunderland supporter. I had no idea that they used it. (not a football fan).
Prokofiev indeed.

Barely remember any of this other than the coronation mugs dished out at school.
My dad bought our first TV for it,

P.E.Jukebox-Instrumental hits selection
Trying to nail down an instrumental, guitar mainly popular music track. This is what Ive got
Dur dur dur dit dit daaah....dur dur dur dit dit daaah
Sang it into a phone with one of those song recognition apps.....useless no record.
So abandoning that for now did a search for instrumental hits...and yes there are lists there. Now it includes Pick up the pieces by the Average White band which clearly has "pick up the pieces" said in it!
Bit late for a themed night but here inaccurately is the Average White Band!
Regards Neil
