I have the DVD of 2001: A Space Odyssey, and it was this film that got David Braben and Ian Bell interested in space, to the point where they produced the game "Elite" in 1984 (and I am playing the latest incarnation, Elite: Dangerous). The music (now, as it was in the original Elite and all of the sequels) that plays when the Docking Computer is active is "The Blue Danube Waltz".

Me too James - it is a favourite in our house.

It is available to watch free and legal online - from Berkely University IIRC.

I have almost all of the films quoted above here, except "Alexander"

but the main theme fro Game Of Thrones - it does take a while to get to the dramatic bit (12' 19")

I was greatly amused with an interview with Emelia Clark who said that they were filming in Bulgaria and staying in a posh hotel.
They came down in the lift and as the doors opened they were greeted with the very unmistakable theme - there was a Game Of Thrones themed wedding in mid-flow there.
The guests had no idea that she and the other actors were there.

So not a film theme but should be
