I was going to respond with a 'Girls and Boys' link, but decided to look to the older generation.......

Re: P.E.Jukebox-Post a track make the link!
That song "When a man loves a woman" was a genuine one-hit wonder for the songwriters, they only wrote that one song together. I enjoyed reading the background here...Calvin Lewis and Andrew Wright so thats a dead end for a link...
Sister Sledge? Why not they did appear at South Shields this summer after all
We're lost in Music! Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards all over this one!

Sledge - a vehicle on runners for conveying loads or passengers over snow or ice, often pulled by draught animals.
Skeleton (bobsleigh) - a winter sliding sport in which a rider throws themselves downhill on a tea-tray and narrowly avoids killing themselves.
Everyone should be able to sing along to this one

Well the first bit of that certainly caused a stirring in our dog! I would say she was more agitated by it than enjoying it!

Saint-Saens was also well known for The Carnival of the Animals, so from there we go to The Animals and their famous tune - House Of The Rising Sun, but I'll not go for their version here, instead I'll go for John Otway's sing-a-long version

Re: P.E.Jukebox-Post a track make the link!
Brace yourselves! This is proper trivia, and a manufactured link.
Yes the cover of Abbey Road...have you noticed the numberplate on the police van at the right hand side....thought not. Exhibit A
Think we can all agree its SYO 724F, which is also the Numberplate of the "Rolls Royce in the Pool" on the cover of the album "Be Here Now" by Oasis. Exhibit B
Right so we have jumped from Abbey Road to Oasis, but rather than inflict the Gallagher brothers on the assembled throng at this time of the morning, off we go from Oasis.....a watering hole in the desert to a Caravanserai a more substantial "Inn" in similar territory and a bit of the beautiful "Song of the Wind" from the album Caravanserai by Santana.
Regards Neil

From Santana... deserts, camels music, that has to take us to 'Sultans of Swing' and 'Dire Straits', which is probably what I'm in for making that dubious link!

"dubious links" are what the thread thrives on Marc!GiveMeABreak wrote: 12 Nov 2017, 11:48 From Santana... deserts, camels music, that has to take us to 'Sultans of Swing' and 'Dire Straits', which is probably what I'm in for making that dubious link!
..and Sultans of Swing always gets a thumbs up from me, again one of those tunes which was a staple of the green bar juke box from my student days!

I was going to go with...
Abbey Road - a long road - a long way home - and the four reprobates in the picture could so well be 4 of the members from another one of my all time fave groups
Supertramp - Take The Long Way Home

The singer looks like he should be an extra in The Sweeney or maybe The Professionals
