We will get there eventually - or I'll have moved on to something else - currently enjoying Mr Plant

Re: P.E.Jukebox-Post a track make the link!
So the current track to link to is
Robert Plant and Alison Krauss Black Dog
Well the PE Jukebox Christmas selection already has Alison singing the Wexford Carol (with Yo-Yo Ma on Cello) and "The Light of Christmas Day" with the aforementioned Robert Plant!
With the fairly weak link being the Pickled Egg Christmas Jukebox...guess what track 10 is...none other than
Carl Orff's in!
You may well ask how has this track made it to the PE Christmas Selection Jukebox? Well it was in an Iceland advert featuring Peter Andre at one time I suppose... er...it just is!
Regards Neil

You are going to the wrong shops Marc - I haven't heard a single Christmas-related peep

I did take the opportunity to bung a Jacqueline Marie Evancho Christmas song or two in earlier though

They'll be having the Easter eggs out here next week Steve!
And just for you Steve:
Ok, so the most famous piece I know from Carl Orff has to be O Fortuna

So O Fortuna as we know has been used in so many ads, but was also sampled by Enigma in their single 'Gravity of Love'.
But just so I can get one of my favourite tracks in Enigma also did a very haunting song for the theme of the film Sliver, with Sharon Stone.
Edit: Is it after the watershed?

I take back what I said about you being an amateur, Marc. That's some very deft footwork by you that's got us to Enigma

A slightly more legitimite route to Carl Orff might have been Robert Plant --> Led Zep --> Kashmir (song) --> Kashmir (region) --> Saffron grown in Kashmir --> Saffron is a spice ----> you can join the rest of the dots up yourself

Indeed so, and not to be confused with Sporty Spice, Baby Spice, Posh Spice, or Scary Spice

Last of the Mohicans, - also a hairdo often confused with a Mowhawk...
.... not to be confused with Kirsty Hawkshaw from Opus III, who despite having a shaved head prefers a heap of crystals on top instead

Re: P.E.Jukebox-Post a track make the link!
Its pretty easy to work in your favourites so here's one of mine.
Opus III on "Mind Fruit" did a cover of a 1969 track from King Crimson on their iconic album "In the Court of the Crimson King"
Well I have to skip the obvious track from that album ("21st Century Schizoid Man" of course) and "I Talk to the Wind" covered by Opus III. That's in order to make the flimsy connection through "Crimson" to one of Becker and Fagen's classics...
"They call Alabama the Crimson Tide......They call me Deacon Blues"
