The Blue Danube waltz is within the game "Elite: Dangerous". The two men who produced the original "Elite" enjoyed "2001: A Space Odyssey", and the Docking Computer plays "The Blue Danube Waltz" during the docking sequence (and it did/does so in all of the sequels). Another nod to the film is the fact that, when in Super Cruise, the highest speed a ship can reach is 2001c (2001 times the speed of light).
