Well someone in the Hyundai marketing dept surely had a bit of a sense of humour coming up with that line.from the link
New Generation i10
Inspiration. Engineered.
The award winner with a 5 star following. Effortlessly good looking with an irresistible sense of fun.
I have shoved its picture in next to the Lancia Y10 in amongst the 10's

I have to say, that having driven one and been a passenger in many, i10s are hilarious fun. Much as I imagine a C1 is, that kind of small car that can be thrashed everywhere yet never complains.NewcastleFalcon wrote:Well someone in the Hyundai marketing dept surely had a bit of a sense of humour coming up with that line.from the link

They're the Colombian cabbies car of choice! My brother-in-law part owns one. It is in use 24/7/365. He does his 12 hours then hands it to his mate for the next 12 hours.
In 180,000kms in little over 15 months it's needed oil, tyres and brake pads and a front spring. Nothing else has broken. Nothing has dropped off. Given that all Colombians think they are Juan Pablo Montoya, this is a quite amazing feat.

That's a good description of a C1 Mikenorthern_mike wrote: I have to say, that having driven one and been a passenger in many, i10s are hilarious fun. Much as I imagine a C1 is, that kind of small car that can be thrashed everywhere yet never complains.
The i10 even looks like the C1
I do believe they're good, not heard a bad word spoken against any Hyundai actually...

FCF members may well have come across howmanyleft.co.uk
Looks like one of the earliest "talking cars" the Renault 11 TXE Electronique has only 3 licenced examples remaining in the UK.
If you really want to reminisce and hear some of the phrases...
I am fairly sure our renault 25 did a bit of talking too

I also had one of those ^ that had belonged to a Newcastle striker (NUFC, not a pitman )
It was a very interesting car and actually saved me from a drink-driving fine under very trying circumstances with it's inane chatter.
The footballer's sister lived in the next street, the local kids recognised it and came thronging for his autograph and were not happy chappies when I exited from it.
His name was David but that's the extent of my knowledge of football.

You know almost as much as me then Steve...myglaren wrote: His name was David but that's the extent of my knowledge of football.
My entire knowledge of the game is that it's undertaken in the winter by 22 people kicking a bag of wind around a muddy field...
That Renault dash is soo cool it's sub-zero...

Well why not start the 12's off with a less than obvious choice, and go for this
this article reveals the link with Renault in the initiation of the iconic british company into the business
for a more conventional start here's the Renault 12

This could be the oppotrunity for the humble (or not so humble if you can find some) 1.3's to make an appearance on the thread.
I'm thinking cortina, sierra, escort, viva, marina's, montegos, fiats etc etc the type of bog standard models more luxe than deluxe.
Maybe even interesting vehicles on a 13 plate, or launched in 2013, or maybe even a 1913 example...
have a go
