I will journey down on the Saturday with my usual stop-over in Trowbridge so that I can partake of Southwick parkrun :)

Hampshire is tough and resilient. It manages to put up with me ;)

It should have no trouble with you at all James!

I believe Victor Reinz are pretty well regarded in the US, seen their (his?) gaskets used on a few of the Yank youtube shows I watch, in the context of performance built engines.

Also, 'your' vet is wonderful. The world needs more like that :-D

This has come to live with us.
Own work
Own work
I actually rather like it.
The lines aren't dissimilar to a Xantias.
I'm not sure about inside, it looks like it may squeeze the legroom a bit. I haven't been in it yet so I don't know.

It brought it's pet Polish guy and he's someone who does all his own maintenance
In fact he's going to change his cambelt and water pump tomorrow.
I'll be watching him closely. From the standard of his building work I expect he'll be quite methodical and diligent.
Hope so, it'll be nice to have another tinkerer here for a couple of months.

I'm just waiting for my finger to stop bleeding then I'm going to install the new remote locking and headliner.
I've got one of those little pinpricks somehow doing the washing up and it does;t want to stop bleeding.
I might look at the cv boots today as well, they are missing ties and have splattered the grease.
I have grease and ties so should probably get down there.
If I get through that lot really fast I want to take out the drivers seat and see if I can fix the leaky inflatable sides.
I found a thread with a helpful bit of information that narrows it down to the black hose.
I may even do some other bits, to be honest I've forgotten what needs doing I haven't played with it for so long.
Definitely need to put the spare wheel on, osf has a screw in it.

Yes, I always wash knives separately after once being seriously bitten by one hiding amongst the bubbles in the washing-up bowl...

Hope it soon stops James and will be good to hear of much success today :)
