Well 123,001 now I'm home.
Some really special numbers to come soon like 123,321 and 123,456.
I've rest the trip distance so I get 3217 and 4567 respectively with the above mileages.
Struggling to decide though do 123,456 and 4,567 go together better than 123,456 and 1,234, I have 332 miles to decide.
Maybe 123,321 goes with 1,233 and 123,456 with 1,234
ooh, hard decision to make.

Actually just realised they are all wrong.
Trip should say 1221 at 123,321 and then 1234 at 123,456
Glad I got to the bottom of that.
.....

And I thought I was bad! Personally I'd have tried to arrange it such that you get 123,456 over 789.0 ;)

That did cross my mind but I wasn't alert enough when we went through 122,667 and missed the opportunity.
I never mentioned I have a maths problem did I? Once numbers are in my head thats it, I'm lost to them until they go away again.

I'll just leave this here...

...and run for the hills.

I dropped that on one of my housemates a couple of years back (he's a veritable walking calculator) when we were walking through a shopping centre.

Of course that's an example from the xkcd webcomic.

If it makes you feel any better I've just about murdered autocorrect on my phone about five times while trying to post that...

Now you've got me factorising the time.
It's quite fun actually.
My maths problem is a very welcome one, it's the words that get to me.

At some point returning from Berlin on the 15th (I think) I missed 172,172, so thought I'd look out for 173,173 coming down the the A1 from t'Northern Rally, but was distracted - & missed it by 6 miles! P'raps I'll just wait for 177,177.

Overslept a bit, not good when the supervisor is the late one.
Is I got confused with time factors a good excuse?

It was ok, the workers noticed I wasn't up and they didn't get up.
So I've got them all up and put them to work.
I think I won't tell on them, they won't tell on me and we all got a lie in.
Thanks Zel

You've got plenty of good ones to look forward to.
222,222 is definitely the objective though, I hope you make it.

I'm keen to see that come up on Gabriel...

She's just about to turn over 209,000...

That's quite significant too...

Are you trying to tie it in with her age in hours? Thus a lifetime average speed of 1mph! ;)

Oh dear, I need to cover over 50k to catch up with my hours.
That would be a great game with a new car, I have a friend in London with a company car and a fuel card I bet he'll love it.
Actually at the minute they are all seeing who can get the worst economy and use the most tyres in his office, by next week they'll probably be playing this game too.

I ordered all the parts to make the pedal which goes with my amp today. Roland/Boss charge the best part of £100 for an official one. It contains all of 4 switches, one jack socket, one capacitor and a few wires. Bought the bits for mine for £10 and I'm going to recycle something interesting for the case, not sure what yet. It's not really a necessary thing to have as all it does is switch channel and control the onboard effects. The effects are prity rubbish with the exception of the reverb so I don't see the 2nd side of the pedal getting much use. I don't know why I would need a pedal to change channel either, it's not like a nice clean sounding song suddenly turns to death metal in the middle. Got the input for it though so feeling the need to have one. If I enjoy it I may well make a delay pedal and then whatever else takes my fancy. Very much looking forward to seeing my Telecaster on Saturday too, it was just scrap wood when I last saw it 5 months ago, a lots changed and I'm so excited to see it for real.
