I had same problem on my C5 and successfully fitted one of these

Works a treat with 5 settings to keep your sporan snug
Only took less than 2 hours once the seat was out. Just a matter of carefully separating the layer of seat foam at the level of the original heated seat element and sliding the new one on top. Kinda like adding an extra slice of cheese to a sandwich by lifting up the edge of but not removing the top slice of bread
