The problem that it's 200 miles away from me up in Lancs and now the owner wants it gone pretty much ASAP now it's been replaced. He's decided he's not interested in ripping too much off it in the cold and damp after a days work.

The leather apart from the driver's seat isn't bad actually and they hydractive all somewhat unbelievably all still works.

I think he's having it collected by the same scrappy who took RUNN in a few days..

Ive not heard of 8v turbos clogging up on the xantias.. probably because the egr is not monitored by the ecu and the electrovalves pack up so it doesnt do anything... my xantia never clogged up..

What's the quickest way to remove the HP fuel pump, the turbo, the suspension pump and alternator, and strut tops given that they're not going back on...

Engine out mike.. just get the front off and drop it out....

fuel pump in tank can only come out kne way... now.. if your really mad.. drop the front subframe after undoing the uj joint o the steering and unbolt the strut tops.. any pipes can be cut. But then you get strut tops.. subframe engine turbo and everything else.. theres only the pas pipe and suspension feed pipe thats engine to body.. the others are brake pipes and front to rear four pipes...

The chap who owns it is being a knob now, and is scrapping it whole - as he'll get £25 more if he drives it in rather than has it collected as a non - runner.

I've told him there's a few hundred quids worth of sellable bits on there. I'd do it myself but I've no space here.
