You are probably the only person directly injured by a haggis! People who are hospitalised by haggis are there because of clogged arteries and the like (I do know what goes into a haggis).
You know what a Scot keeps in his sporran? Anything that he likes. A Scot will never tell you what he wears under his kilt, but he will take ANY opportunity to SHOW you what he wears under his kilt!

Re: Alternative to Tax Disc
Well as you know i am partial to wearing a kilt when the occasion demands it. I remember the first time i wore one was at my first wedding. A "lady" who was my mother in laws best friend asked me what I wore under it. I replied that I could not possibly divulge such sensitive information and if she wanted to find out she needed to find out by some other method. She promptly kneeled down, lifted the kilt and stuck her head up there. I do not know who was more embarrassed. Needless to say there was copious amounts of alcohol involved

I have heard that, since the Lesser Haggis has left its' natural habitat and moved into the man made bogs, the flavour of the "Water of Life" has improved dramatically!

Re: Alternative to Tax Disc
When negations start on Friday if the rest of the UK are wanting access to shipments of the Noble Haggi (the correct term for plural) Then but default they have to accept the bog haggi with them, and accept bog haggis pee in their whisky. Or in the cases of three certain stooges who paid Scotland a visit whilst skiving from work, they have to solely acceptbog haggis pee as their tipple of choice.

Re: Alternative to Tax Disc
Kevin Bridges speaketh the truth, with some bad language, as you might expect...
As for Labour and Tories sticking up for each other? Well, enough of the Tories supported Blair for his ridiculous invasion of Iraq didn't they

Today's the first day of this new era. Do I or don't I (remove the disc and stuff it in the glovebox)?
