My previous Xantia had a 110HDi engine. Does that help to re-rail the thread?

The thread does not need re-railing.

I must go and get the C5 from Malcolm before he does anything to it though. I've decided against repairing it, and it too will be sold as is.

I've been offered an interesting-ish "project" car which has six cylinders, steel springs and two doors. It's MOT'd until September, runs well and is cheapy cheap - scrap value. Heater blower doesn't work though, even though it's not French. It's even got 3/4 tank of petrol and is only £200.. with leather, full climate control (that worked before the blower died), rear wheel drive and 197BHP.

It'll be something interesting to fiddle with now I don't actually need 2 cars.

Sod that. A complete deal-breaker for me....

Mike, interested to know what it is

With a proper cylinder count it has to be interesting and with dodgy electrics and silly price it can only be an Alfa...

have they fixed Tapatalk Davie, or are you struggling along with the new version?

It's actually my brother-in-law's car that he just wants gone. He got it very cheap when the owner emigrated back to the States last year, he's no mechanic and he's been quoted a silly, silly price to fix the blower. As he doesn't use the car much at all (it's been standing 3 weeks since the blower died) he just wants it gone or he's going to scrap it. I thought it'd make a nice plaything for a while..

Bl**dy awful thing to use these days :(
Damnit. It's so poor now, I actually uninstalled it and have been using the forum from the web browser on my phone when needed..

I thought I would try it on the phone again having read it had changed. It's blody crap now. Can't find threads or browse on it. It's a pity as I found it by far the easiest way to post photos being that I take most photos with the phone.

Well I was as wrong as possible in my guess of an Alfa wasn't I

I saw Tapatalk took another update on my tablet the other day. I was full of hope but alas those hopes were immediately dashed... I don't know what bit was updated but it was nothing useful.

If ever there was a case of no update ever being needed it was that. Have users complained to Tapatalk?

Shame really as Tapatalk was beginning to show promise.

I've replaced blower control modules in this marque family, Valeo brand from memory. Easy fix.
