Walk into a showroom in the 1970's and you may well have seen these two side by side. I like the "upstairs" aspect of this particular garage.

....an audio nice pair but car-related. Heard no 1 this morning, and thought that is just one of those truly iconic bass guitar sequences, and what a brilliantly structured track from start to finish. The second the Allman Brothers......top quality in its own right, but a just a few places below the first in my book :)

Formula 1 and Top Gear

The Chain is an excellent song and sadly only a small snatch of it is heard on the Formula 1 pantomime show... Worth a listen to the full track...

Jessica is a bit like TG. Boring and repetitive after a couple of minutes...

Bit of an odd couple rather than a nice pair, the benign and the menacing from the same stable.

The epitome of what this thread is about a nice pair.

One is factory old english white, the other is non-standard and may even seem white if you don't see it next to something that is white. Reminds me of the old Dulux natural hints cornflower white.

A pair of Winkworths (Electric Car-Bells)

A Wolseley 12/48 (1938) Market Place Kelso Scottish Borders 5th June 2017, it has the bell so presumably a former Police car.

Shame police cars do not have those bells still... More effective than the horrid things they have these days

I remember when I really quite fancied an Alvis, poured over "the Mart" for months looking for a TF21 but never found one. Of course, if I knew then what I do now, I would've grabbed the best TE (or even TD) I could find - & hung on to it.

These are an odd couple but a pair of sorts none the less. The red one is probably a challenge without looking it up, points if you can get it top of the head...no distinguishing badges to identify the model, other than the obvious one for the maker.

So a pair with an H badge.
