Thanks for the flurry of responses, I thought I was going to have to just have a guess myself!
Yes it is a Rene Bonnet Le Mans. Dug it out from ClassicCarCatalogue. Just click on a year (1963 in this case] and it gives lists of worldwide manufacturers by Country and just picked out Rene Bonnet out of curiosity.

Eventually morphed into MATRA in particular with the Djet model.
Nice to get the Whatsthisthen wrapped up!

.....the random link from Rene Bonnet, to Dubonnet, to A.M. Cassandre, to Normandie, to that excellent video of the fate of the Normandie......whatsthisthen? on the FCF should be on the National Curriculum for its educational value
