1950's ordinance survey map from NLS has "Lobby Bridge" marked next to the bridge. Railcodes.org.uk has it described as "Gargrave and Broughton (Church Street) Overline Bridge | Brick (Arch)". It is an external masonry construction in stone but may well have a brick arch.

Station platform (low level) and Lobby Bridge, Gargrave for SD9353<br />Looking west, with the station buildings beyond. This is an unusual arrangement: regular trains of no more than four carriages stop the other side of the bridge along the raised section of platform, but the platform continues at its original height this side of the bridge to serve occasional longer charter trains

In white and black yes. Don't think I would have got it from that picture well done. Still havent worked out what it is maybe a camera "side" mirror.

A little gallery of the full thing

Bear in mind that small cameras are as cheap as chips these days, you can get a respectable rear view camera for £15 so the only likely cost is the housing etc. and of course the compulsory rip off markup from the main stealer! :-D

Can't remember seeing a post on that on the FCF Mick. When was that? Not the greatest VFM model but I do like the look of it.

Either 2021 or 22 in the summer, brain fade strikes, when the EV test centre opened in MK. I had a go in the Honda, the BMW and the Renault and came away disillusioned entirely so I decided not to publicise my thoughts at the time as I was in a minority of the chaps that were there (from my old rally mob) and I just didn't want to argue about it. :-D

Most current lorries use a camera/screen in place of wing mirrors nowadays (with the screens mounted on the A pillars). The advantage is that they are less likely to be damaged accidentally (as the camera and arm are far smaller than the wing mirrors they replace). I have also seen them on coaches.

Has any of the hauliers fitted them in their 'blind spot'? It would help lorry drivers to stop crashing into people who like to sit there. As a van driver it really peed me off that someone would sit there.
