The questionsetter thought you might know Gibbo while not having a clue himself

How are you, or indeed all FCF viewers, with aircraft

Try this, easy enough to find with an image search seeing as I have culled it from wiki.

Re: Whatsthisthen?
Tonight on the way home we were passed by a car with tail lights like a handlebar moustache
Did a quick camera click as it disappeared out of sight. The next one to pass was easy...easily recognisable claw marks on that one.
This is also French. I suspect it is in the too difficult category, but have a go. At least when it is revealed if you get passed by a moustache late at night on the roads, you will know what it is

Re: Whatsthisthen?
Definitely Renault, think it might be the Megane rather than the "Coupe SUV", though the Clio has got that big nowadays it might be that rather than Megane

Re: Whatsthisthen?
Have you seen any of the "LED mono-brow" front ends that are starting to appear?
Slightly doctored photo: There's more than one "SUV thing" with similar front end
EDIT ah, found the other I'm thinking of:

Re: Whatsthisthen?
The Actual spot I can't be sure of, but the one in the picture I found was indeed a Renault Megane of a 2017/2018 vintage. That's not to say that the Megane is the only Renault with a handlebar moustache, it may well have been something newer. Next time I see one I will try to be a little more precise, maybe uncharacteristically even put my foot down to catch up in the interests of research. Over on the Lights/interesting awful thread I have initiated a night-time spotters guide of the many and varied rear light designs. I like the Peugeot claw marks...easy brand recognition.MattBLancs wrote: 06 Sep 2024, 07:30 Definitely Renault, think it might be the Megane rather than the "Coupe SUV", though the Clio has got that big nowadays it might be that rather than Megane

Re: Whatsthisthen?
There's one drops someone off further up the street. A Renault of some description I think.
Beaten to it, didn't notice there was another page, only that they looked familiar (and silly).

Thiis is one subject that really brings out the miserable old git in me. Yes they may be LED minimal energy consumption, but add all the energy used by all the vehicles for unnecessary lights and it would be a significant figure which we just don't need to be wasting on cosmetic frivolity!! The lights tested at an MOT are all that is needed

I hope that doesn't stop you from joining in with a bit of night-time spotting or even photographing your own rear lights on the MX3 and the Subaru and the Suzuki to add to the FCF Night-time Rear light Spotting Guide. Its only a gamemickthemaverick wrote: 06 Sep 2024, 09:39 Thiis is one subject that really brings out the miserable old git in me.
