I agree, speaking as an ex-smoker... But then there's nothing more righteous as an ex-smoker... These days, I absolutely hate it

And vapes...

I gave up instantly one day and never looked back and never once had a craving...

Had to eventually Jim when I was diagnosed with diabetes about 20 years ago, I have learned to like sweeteners, can't abide unsweet tea. I cut down on sugar and lost weight and at my regular check ups my blood sugar is now nearly normal.

Packed in smoking 1970-ish. Didn't see the point in smoking, did absolutely nothing for me and stunk.
Never had sugar in tea or coffee, tried it and didn't like it.

I'd have said a mug of coffee pretty terrible for inside a telly with or without sugar! :rofl2:

As said previously, my dad used to fix TVs too, remember him telling me of one heavy smokers house where the TV had given up and also

"the red light has packed in, 'un all"

Err no, it's just that thick with nicotine muck that the little red glow is obscured! A good clean fixed that, and no doubt did wonders for the screen brightness too!

I like sugar in coffee but have trained myself nof to hate it without. My dad can't stand it without (either) but has trained himself not to hate the taste of it with sweeteners!

Have you tried adding a little salt to coffee?
Allegedly takes away some of the bitterness. Makes no difference that I can perceive.

Spotted this Q reg this morning. Wondering what it is electric or petrol/diesel. Obviously some conversion.

Q reg tells you it's a re-registered vehicle of doubtful first reg.

An orange milk float, unusual. The Q reg puzzled me as I've only seen them on kit cars

The 'Smith Electric Vehicles' factory was half a mile from where I live, had been the LG factory my microwave came from.
Smiths were a spinoff from SEVCON.
The factory is Snorkel now, maybe Smiths relocated.
