Re: Whatsthisthen?
The commonest Vauxhall Cabriolet at "D" reg time would be the Cavalier Mk II, and yes matching glove box!

Cant find an interior shot of the Vauxhall Nova Merit Convertible, maybe that had a matching glove box too!

Yes it's clear that Neil was trained in the John Cleese School of Effective management - stand back and let the minions put in the hard yards then swoop in at the last second and claim the glory!!

Another way of looking at it...mickthemaverick wrote: ↑08 Jul 2023, 12:01 Yes it's clear that Neil was trained in the John Cleese School of Effective management - stand back and let the minions put in the hard yards then swoop in at the last second and claim the glory!!
Bobins shoots, and its heading for the top corner, but its not quite there, Ryan palms it onto the post, and it rebounds out to the Maverick, with plenty of time but he scuffs shot number 1 hits the corner flag but it rebounds back into his path. Still with plenty of time he takes aim for shot number 2 but hits the post and fails to follow up on the rebound.
With the ball still bobbling around the six yard box, with no-one stepping up to put it in the net, like all good strikers, Falcon applies the coup-de-grace, takes the chance, shoots and scores.

Re: Whatsthisthen?
Here's a couple of open-goals if anyone needs the practice.
The key is seeing the chance, and taking it. These two recent chances were completely missed with no one even taking a shot.
Name the car/model

If you know your wheels, you will also know your side repeaters and vice versa

Re: Whatsthisthen?
You are right on the Subaru front, l’ll post the full pic up when I get back to the ranch later on.
The other one you may get some additional assistance on, by following the link to the wheel meet again thread, or indeed the trivia investigation thread where there is another view.

Re: Whatsthisthen?
My brains ticking.... It's got relatively small wheels, prob 13inch, very close to the front but sits higher than a mini on the suspension. Chrome bumper shows age. The indicater is puzzling me or is it just a reflective badge...AHHHH! I'm not going to Google it, I will figure out what it is, if anyone knows what it is please say!
