Well that appears to be at Burrator reservoir, NNE of Plymouth, and East of Yelverton. It's fed by a leat that used to run all the way to Plymouth Docks, but was curtailed to empty into the Burrator reservoir instead.

Here's a superfluous picture of the leat on an aqueduct.....

Well done!

Few will have the patience to watch the full 11 minutes or so of this me included. The cabin shots of the drive are quite tedious! but nice setting for the start and end of the vid. Inspired by Jim's spot of a Nissan 100NX this morning.

Another Wheresthisfilmedthen :?:

A very good Top Gear piece I would say , cant say I have seen Jack before, but he does a decent job and didnt have to put earplugs in for the usual TG review of something.
But where was the setting :?: ...suited the vehicle very well :-D

I have no idea where the setting was but in view of the fact that Lunaz are Silverstone based I'd guess at Stowe House? :-D

Don't think so...

No clues in the video other than the architecture and the setting. If I am right driving distance from Hertford is about 70 miles in a Northish to NNW direction, and near a place the name of which is part of a "bridge" you will be more than familiar with :-D

Using https://www.doogal.co.uk/MeasureDistances as the crow flies 61 miles

Without resorting to the dark arts the only place that comes to mind is Burghley but I don't think it looks like the place in the video so I'm gonna have to resort to devious means after dinner!!

Tall chimneys, the gates, the long drive, I'll have another look...

Quite a unique looking place, and old Capability Brown had a hand in the landscaping. Came up with an aerial screenshot from a you tube video about Burghley which looked to confirm it down to those dark posts lining the driveway. I think they sent the Top gear lot round the back and didnt allow them to do too much it in front of the main house.

From that aerial shot you can see the courtyard to the left which is where I think they did the parked sections. My memory of Burghley was corrupted by my memory of Kenwood I think but not certain!! :-D

The Citroen Car Club used to host the early season X Rally at Burghley and it was a great venue... I attended a few there over the years and thoroughly enjoyed each one. Not sure why they no longer do...

In fact, as far as I can see, there's no longer any early rally now before the Northern - shame...

That's a very distinctive church... But not a clue sadly...
