I've been out all day but having returned I'll have a TOH plump for Gants Hill? 

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

It's on the Central Line, there are no above ground buildings associated with the station, It was designed by the same person that designed Sudbury Hill, Arnos Grove Southgate, and Piccadilly Circus, it has echos of Moscow's platform level concourses

Indeed I have, my cousin used to live roughly halfway between Gants Hill and Newbury Park so I would get off at Gants Hill and walk 500m to his house then a further 600ish to Newbury Park if it was rush hour and Gants Hill was very busy!!

Beats me. '50s or '60s I would say and possibly with a big engine, otherwise I'm stumped - but I'm not very observant. General motors? Opel?

Ah yes, that stirs the grey matter. There was a big hoarding at the top of Masons Hill Bromley advertising them, Borgward Isabella if I remember correctly.

I worked on one back in the late fifties buy haven't seen one for years, what I did get lumbered with was a Wartburg Knight I took px that ended up with the scrap man when it blew the big ends.
