Re: Whatsthisthen?
Having skimmed through that very thorough write up it did occur to me that aside from the Porsche 924 was it also involved conceptually in the early Scirocco which itself was replaced by the Corrado in the late 80s. Both cars seem to have a resemblance!!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Very interesting cars. Brazil's finest!

Come on UK in 2021. Stop exporting your car making emissions, copycat Brazil and China.

China are just copycats!Brazil was a nation that almost entirely banned the importation of motor vehicles during the 1970’s thus forcing car manufacturers to either set up vehicle production in Brazil or not have access to that market.

A little challenge for the inquisitive among you. This picture is a visual representation of the molecule of a very important substance to the planets survival!! So, what is it?

Re: Whatsthisthen?
Well done Mick, another interesting one. I did think something like haemoglobin, but the lifeblood of us animals wouldn't trouble the planet too much in its survival, it could quite happily regenerate itself with plants and the precious "green" stuff embodied in that molecule...mickthemaverick wrote: ↑15 Nov 2021, 19:21 A little challenge for the inquisitive among you. More excellent work Neil, did you use the demon google picture search or other means?

Re: Whatsthisthen?
I tried to use this site, from which I have pulled molecular diagrams before but it was a bit of a nightmare to arrive at a formula to search on. So yes only way of getting anywhere close was on the old google image search, with the image coming from wiki it was a straightforward find. Really though we would have been on for years trying to identify it from a molecular representation, and a 20 questions approach would have been the only waymickthemaverick wrote: ↑15 Nov 2021, 20:12 More excellent work Neil, did you use the demon google picture search or other means?

Re: Whatsthisthen?
I was actually quite close in my "hydrogen atoms" count...I came up with a rough 56 from the diagram and the formula has 57!

A couple of churches I passed today for your general amusement! Where are they? I should say that I only know the name of the second one and not its location name!!

Re: Whatsthisthen?
Thought that was going to take several days especially as you appear to have strayed 60 odd miles from home into the depths of Huntingdonshire...that spire is not a "Hertfordshire spike" which apparently is a thing, but a "broach spire".mickthemaverick wrote: ↑16 Nov 2021, 16:40 A couple of churches I passed today for your general amusement! Number 2 may still take days!

That certainly looks good, have you got a name and place for it? Clues available if required for number 2!
