Re: Whatsthisthen?
That was it. Surprised me and I worked in Birtley for years and passed that church every evening - also the used tyre place that I sometimes use for repairs backs on to the Belgian Cemetery.
There's a BBC article and program about it.

Re: Whatsthisthen?
Bob and I had a great day out yesterday which is why I saved you all the trouble of reading my drivel for one day at least!
However the day generated a "Wheresthisthen" question in three parts. Part one earns 100 points, if no luck in a few hours the prize will be reduced to 30 points on the production of my second picture. If that doesn't produce a result then a mere point will be gained by the poster of the first correct answer after my third picture is displayed!!

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Re: Whatsthisthen?
Well reasoned guess there Neil. Sadly it's wrong but I think the logic deserves a bonus 5 points!!

Re: Whatsthisthen?
I'm off for a Sunday roast in a minute so time to put up picture number 2. Depending on viewing habits I'm expecting this to net a fairly easy 30 points for the answer!!

Re: Whatsthisthen?
30 points to Neil. Well done, we had a really great day and Henry's main message was "After seeing what has happened with Covid it is now clearly our responsibility to grow old disgracefully!!!"
And I have to say it sounds like a grand idea to me!!!!

Looks like cross between a Renault and something Japanese. Floride/early Civic hybrid.
