If you get the chance, the AA Box at Mere is probably on your route just off the A50 Knutsford Road, (literally less than 50 metres.)

Have a good trip

I got confused to begin with as I thought it was the Barton Swing Bridge. Never seen the Latchford one before and I couldn't work out how Barton connected with Knutsford then I followed the A50 back to Warrington and, hey presto, Latchford. The rest was down to Street View.

Black Audi in front had a reg plate whose last 3 letters were ZSL
Wouldn't have noticed it, if unconsciously I hadn't been pre-disposed to notice from reading Old'uns post.

Another "Wheresthisthen" to test your knowledge. 50 points for identifying the exact location and a further 50 points for each TV program you can name featuring it!! Plus a bonus 100 points if you can name the venue to the left of the picture and say what it was famous for? :-D

Yes you have the bridge which was the easy bit but "near Watford" is not what's on the card for exact location!!

I assume you are thinking of the Quarry Bridge at Chistleton Gibbo?:

I'm afraid not, Neil's answer of near Watford is correct but not the exact location. The bank you can see under the bridge in my photo is named:
---- -----'- -----
I just need the actual name!! :-D

it is the Lady Capels bridge on the River Gade at Lady Capels Wharf near the Grove Hotel, Chandlers Ford but as for the rest of it, I will just have to wait for the answers.

Correct Neil, the first 50 points to you. Now the place on the left and it's claim to fame for 100 or the TV programs featuring the bridge at 50 points each!! :-D

Dormouse
It is indeed Lady Capel's Bridge at Lady Capel's Wharf (the bank under the bridge) but it is over the Grand Union Canal not the River Gade.
You are halfway to the points for place on the left with the Grove Hotel but I still need its claim to fame?  :-D

Looks like the Cassiobury park was a filming location used for film and television due to its proximity to Elstree.

Have to check Avengerland, which no doubt had some of those episodes using it.

Wiki lists these
Cassiobury Park has been used as a filming location in a number of cinema films and television programmes due to its proximity to several major film studios such as Elstree Studios. In 1997 Whippendell Wood served as a Star Wars filming location when it provided the backdrop of a forest on the planet Naboo which featured in the scene in Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, in which Qui-Gon Jinn (Liam Neeson) and his Jedi apprentice Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) first meet Jar Jar Binks (Ahmed Best).[14][15]

From that answer Neil I can see that the TV question could get out of hand. I was looking for programs which feature the bridge itself, and I am thinking of 3 canal based programs!!
