I think that counts as shooting yourself through the foot!! :-D
If you concentrate on the original idea and try an image search you may find the pub in whose grounds the picture was taken!! :-D

I'll plump for the Navigation Stoke Bruerne as my next guess then.

Citrojim gave Stoke Bruerne a mention on "Nice Places to Stop Off at"
CitroJim wrote: 29 Sep 2020, 17:40 On our weekly club bike ride today we visited Stoke Bruerne, the location of a very nice pub and lots of canal interest, including a museum and the south portal of the lengthy Blisworth tunnel on the Grand Union...

Another view...

The pub, rather appropriately named The Boat, was superb... Covid 19 precautions second to none, excellent food and fantastically helpful staff!

Well worth a visit but not at a weekend as it gets rammed...
His last comment has me wondering whether you too would have plumped for "the Boat" rather than The Navigation!

Yes I would have accepted The Boat....mainly because that is the correct answer. :-D The Navigation is in fact a different pub along the towpath. My mistake!! :-D

Saw this today but not at all sure what it is...

The video capture is not that good but it's old and is has 1970s John Player Special decals on the bonnet and sides...
What is it?
What is it?

My initial reaction is that that is a Mazda MX5 with hardtop and JPS logo imitating some of the race cars they had like this:

I would guess its some incarnation of Porsche, they had a JPS sponsored racing team.

It could also be a variant of the Mazda Miata which is a special edition of the MX5 family:

My first thought when I saw the front was Allard but I don't think they got to build something as new as that.

Yes I think Mick Has it :-D The local MX-5 club has a nice badge :-D

and in tangental trivia, the 12 on the decal I presume refers to the Number which Ayrton Senna won his first Grand Prix in the JPS Lotus.
