Re: Whatsthisthen?
and he's not called MCV either
If anyone can be bothered to research what does MCV stand for Probably one of the worst phrases to describe a "genre" of vehicle

Re: Whatsthisthen?
I researched it to discover the meaning is maximum capacity vehicle! Jim's is better but you get what you pay for and it is good for the cost:
Dacia
Logan MCV
RRP
£10,745 - £11,745
Dacia
Logan MCV
RRP
£10,745 - £11,745

Re: Whatsthisthen?
Dacia were always the brand Carlos Ghosn had in mind to bring out the first groundbreaking low priced EV. It does appear now that the DACIA Spring is going to be Europes lowest priced electric car.CitroJim wrote: ↑06 Nov 2020, 18:30I'd tend to agree...NewcastleFalcon wrote: ↑06 Nov 2020, 17:56 Not sure of the exact match but I suspect its one of these

Thing is how many of them are Renault going to be comfortable with Dacia making. They have their electric offerings to sell the Twingo and the Zoe which comfortably sit in the over expensive £20,000 to £30,000 bracket.
We saw what VW did to their Skoda Citigo throttled production and then applied the coup de grace unmercilessly on the model.....and that was getting on for £20,000 before you got it out of the showroom, neither cheap nor disruptive.
Its easy enough to make a low priced disruptive electric car, but in general the big traditional automakers dont want to.

That, by any stretch of the pocket, is a true bargain!
Thanks for educating us to the true meaning of 'MCV' Mick!

Regards NeilMCV used to stand for Multi Convivial Vehicle. Now we are told it is a maximum capacity vehicle. Smart words. Luggage almost gets lost in the cargo area – even with the rear seats in place

Certainly a Dacia, our local Nissan dealer has an agency for them.
I once, years ago, bought a Dacia Duster (well took it px actually) a dreadful pile of.......
I was in my for my mot and one of the mechanics there was working on one of the new ones, I said "Are these still as bad as they used to be?" the reply "Same old s**t."

Re: Whatsthisthen?
Yes it is Mick....did you plough through the 1996 Mondial de l'Auto, or can you recognise a Berlingo rear end at 1000 paces
Dont know if they ever fitted a motor to it but they dragged it down the beach for this
I wonder where the beach was......Odd things in the water which may be characteristic of the location shoot.
