This one may be a bit challenging. It is a rare survivor.

It is a very attractive car, I beleive it is painted in its original colour scheme (or something close).

It was made in a country that is a member of the EU.

I have a tenuous personal link to this example.

Well I've had a brief look at Southward Motor Museum...not found it yet...

I picked the wrong museum, looks like the wiki photo was taken at the Nelson Car Museum next to WOW South Island New Zealand.

Yes, you got it.

I knew Bob Scott who restored this car, and in the early 1980s he drove it it regularly and it sometime sat in our driveway as he was helping me restore a Jaguar XK150 that I owned at the time (that project was eventually sold unfinished).

I believe that this is the only surviving example of that model of Metalurgique, and before restoration it sat in a paddock for many years until there was little more than the chassis and running gear remaining. Pretty much everything you can see was hand fabricated by he restorer, who worked from one photograph of the car when it was nearly new. As the restoration was done in the 1960s in New Zealand, there was very little information to go on.

When I walked into the museum, I immediately recognised the car in the distance, solely on the colour, I don't remember seeing another pre-WW1 car in that shade.

I rather like that colour, very unusual but somehow it suits the car and a great contrast to the polished brass :D

An incredible restoration of a very beautiful car :D

The most of them are covered Mick but the vid list doesnt have them all, and number 1 is subtly French, and number 3 and 7 look worthy of a little delve.

Number 7 is a Talbot Lago Coupe 2500 as seen here.

Number 1 is a VELAM (Véhicule Léger à Moteur) made in France under license from Italian company ISO who built the Isetta.

Number 3 is a Citroen which I believe was built for presidential use. I cannot find any prose about it, even on Citroen's history website but I have found another picture:

It would appear to be called a 411 or Six-11 in our case but I suspect it is basically the same car with different wheelbases. :?:

My first encounter with the grey lump third down on the left of your picture was in El Kirsch by the Suez Canal, one of those speeding along the canal road clipped the back of an army truck and rolled.

We turned it back onto its wheels and dragged it into our workshop car park.

The French guy driving it was screaming about the damage to his beautiful new car.

When we opened the doors we found his aged mother stuck in the rear footwell between the front and rear seats...............he'd forgotten about her  fortunately she was shocked but otherwise unhurt.

The car was never collected, just stood there until we were posted home.
