No not one of those James its a really small car. Bobins and Mick are quite right about the make so I'll post up the rest of my pics on it see if the exact car can be nailed. I dont have the definitive answer myself.
bobins wrote: 10 Oct 2020, 21:09 My guess on this one would be an Autobianchi Bianchina
mickthemaverick wrote: 10 Oct 2020, 21:13 I'd go for these two:
Yes I reckon you are pretty adjacent so have a look at the full set of pics I took. The "Topolino" had FIAT/SIMCA on the hubcaps, and the Badge has FIAT SIMCA on it.....what do you think?

In that case, the black one is a Simca 5, or possibly a Fiat-Simca Topolino 5 if you want to be picky

Excellent work James/Bobins/Mick I think we have our Microcar whatsthisthen solved.

Purely random discovery. It was at Humshaugh which is a mere half a mile from Chollerford where Mick and Bob paused at the Riverside Cafe on their September Stroll.

The village Hall has a charger and I was just walking the dog round the village when I came across them. What are the chances of that happening.

Given that we went over the bridge and effectively turned left past the cafe would your walk have been straight on at that roundabout Neil? :)

At the roundabout left as you say takes you along the military road and the wall, straight on takes you up to Wark/Bellingham (as we did on our virtual bikes!), and right takes you to Humshaugh literally just there. The road through the Village joins up with the Wark/Bellingham road which effectively by-passes it.

How about a 1961 Ford ?

or better still a 53 Chevy Grumman Olsen:

but taking into account the apparent rake of the screen I'd go for the 57 Chevy Grumman Olsen:

Yes definitely matches a Grumman Olson Kurbside aluminum step van on a chassis of un definable maker but probably Ford or Chevy. Dont know who this Grumman Olson is but an unusual and probably a US van?

More Microcar action from the Crown Inn at Humshaugh.

Easy enough to research, I can say its French, and its bound for California.
